BELLINGHAM, WA – No one was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle accident in Blaine Tuesday night.

WSP says a car hit a guardrail near the Peace Portal Dr exit on I-5 NB around 8 pm.

The force of the crash pushed the rail into the right lane, causing other vehicles to crash into it.

It’s unknown exactly how many vehicles were involved, but Blaine Police add that only minor injuries were reported.

The crash was cleared by 10 pm.

Police say that weather conditions were likely a factor in the accident.
