BELLINGHAM, WA – (KGMI.com) A Point Roberts man is in custody after allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Deb Slater says deputies responded to a report of the assault on December 23.

Their investigation found probable cause to arrest 58-year-old Jason Archer Thursday.

Archer is accused of molesting a child who was known to him.

He remains at the Whatcom County Jail without bail.
