BELLINGHAM, WA. – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Washington was just ranked the second worst state for driving.
A data comparison study conducted by WalletHub placed Washington state second, losing out only to Hawaii for the title.
They compared 31 metrics, from car-related costs and services to road quality and traffic.
Washington ranked among the worst for car theft, road quality, average gas prices, rush-hour traffic congestion and maintenance costs.
The state does well in providing access to vehicles and maintenance, ranking 16th overall.
The top three states to drive in were Iowa, Georgia and Kansas respectively.
