BELLINGHAM, WA. – (MyBellinghamNow.com) Ballots are due today, Tuesday, Feb. 13, for the Special Election in Whatcom County that is focused on local education.
Voters in Lynden will decide on a $157.5 million bond for a new high school and upgrades to four other schools.
Residents in Blaine will be voting on a $70 million bond for upgrades across the district.
Bellingham, Ferndale, Meridian, Nooksack Valley and Mount Baker school districts all have various operational levies on their respective ballots.
Ballots can be returned in an official ballot drop box until 8 p.m. or postmarked no later than Feb. 13 to be counted.
