BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Interested in leading the future of downtown Bellingham?

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership (DBP) is now accepting applications for a new executive director.

Alice Clark, a founding member of the Pickford Film Center, stepped down from the position at the end of 2023 after seven years as executive director. The partnership credits her with overseeing recovery efforts following the pandemic that brought back Downtown Sounds and helped small businesses get back on their feet.

In the meantime, the partnership’s current program director Lindsey Payne Johnstone will serve as interim executive director. Johnstone has been with DBP since 2008.

The new executive director will be responsible for strategic planning, managing finances, collecting and reporting on data, leading community engagement and more. Applications are due by March 31.

Anyone interested can find more information about the position on DBP’s website. To apply, send a cover letter and resume to wendy@stclairehr.com with the subject line “DBP Executive Director.”

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works to develop, promote and support the downtown area.
