BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A new contest is asking you to help find the best taco in Whatcom County.

United Way of Whatcom County is hosting its second annual Tastiest Taco Competition this summer. Participants can buy a $30 booklet that will get them one free taco at each of the ten businesses taking part in the event.

Those spots include Burrito King, Black Sheep, Sol De Mexico, Tadeo’s and many other local favorites that have each chosen a specific taco to present to tasters. After trying each of the tacos, participants will vote on their favorite and help crown the winner.

All proceeds will benefit United Way’s Community Impact Fund, which supports residents that are experiencing financial hardship. The competition started on Tuesday, June 4 and takes place through July 16.
