A former standout Seahawks defensive player is on the move East.
Free agent safety Jamal Adams signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans this morning.
Adams played four years with the Seahawks before he was released in March.
He was the centerpiece of a massive trade that sent two of the Seahawks’ first round picks to the New York Jets in exchange for the 2x Pro Bowler Adams.
He made a Pro Bowl and set a record for defensive backs with 9.5 sacks during his first year in Seattle in 2020.
He hasn’t returned to the Pro Bowl or recorded a sack since then, missing 33 of a possible 67 regular-season games.
The NBA has agreed to a new media rights deal.
The record 11-year agreement worth $76 billion will ensure that player salaries will continue to rise for years to come.
Games will continue to be aired on ESPN and ABC, but now NBC and Amazon Prime will be hosting some of the action as well.

Anthony Kodama hit a walk off homer at Joe Martin Field last night to lead the Bellingham Bells to a 6-5 win over the Northwest Star Nighthawks.
The Bells held a 4-0 lead entering the seventh inning, but the Nighthawks stormed back to tie the game heading into the bottom of the ninth.
That set the stage for Kodama to lead it off with the Bells’ fourth walk-off win at home this season.
They’re running it back in another non-league match against the Nighthawks tonight at 6:35.
It comes as the West Coast League All Star rosters were announced.
The Bells led the way with six All Stars named to the North Division team.
That included catcher Conner Smith, first baseman Jacob Mejia, shortstop Roman Martin, third baseman Nate Kirkpatrick and pitchers Josh Flaugher and Tyler Van Dyke.
The All Star game takes place this Wednesday at 6:35 at Joe Martin Field and will also be aired live on the MLB Network.
