WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Thunderstorms could be returning to Whatcom County over the next few days.
The National Weather Service in Seattle (NWS) says widespread rain showers are moving across western Washington on Tuesday, Aug. 20. They are forecasting possible thunderstorms tonight and Wednesday night before calming down on Thursday.
NWS also says it will be a wet and cool week as it starts to feel a bit more like fall, though the weather won’t be a repeat of last weekend.
Thunderstorms from the previous weekend caused a major power outage in south Bellingham and spotty outages across western Whatcom County.
