WHATCOM COUNTY, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A serial child molester is being sent back to prison.

53-year-old Charlie Perrigo was sentenced on Monday, Sept. 16, to just over five years in prison followed by lifetime community supervision.

Perrigo pleaded guilty in May 2024 to one count of child molestation stemming from an incident in 2017. He was previously convicted in Hawaii on two counts of child molestation in 2000 and was required to register as a sex offender following his release from prison.

In 2006, Perrigo was also charged with failing to register as a sex offender when he moved from Hawaii to Whatcom County.
