BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A man accused of hitting a pedestrian in Bellingham a month ago has been arrested.
Police spokesperson Megan Peters says the suspect driver hit a person in a marked crosswalk at York Steet and Cornwall Avenue on Sept. 4. The driver did not stop or offer any assistance and sped off.
Multiple witnesses and a police investigation later determined the car was driven by 20-year-old Ethin Brote.
Brote was arrested on Friday, Oct. 4, and faces hit-and-run and vehicular assault charges.
