A Seattle Seahawk has won NFC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in a row.

Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams won this week’s award after getting a game-changing 92-yard pick 6 against the Jets along with two sacks and a blocked extra point.

His interception return for a touchdown was the longest by a defensive lineman in NFL history.

Williams admitted after the game that he was playing with a chip on his shoulder after getting passed over for the award last week by his teammate Coby Bryant.

The Seahawks will look to extend their division lead over the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.

The Kraken picked up a much-needed win to open their road trip last night.

Seattle beat the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 last night to snap a three-game skid.

The Hurricanes tied the match 2-2 early in the third period, but Yanni Gourde and Brandon Tanev each scored to lift the Kraken over one of the premier offenses in the NHL.

Seattle will continue its four-game road trip against the New York Islanders tomorrow night.
