BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham’s overnight severe weather shelter is preparing to open this weekend.
Whatcom County Health and Community Services says their shelter on N Forest St. will open the nights of Jan. 12 and 13. Check-in is from 4 to p.m. to 9 p.m. and guests will need to leave by 9 a.m. the next morning.
Temperatures are forecast to drop below 30 degrees on both nights. Additional shelter space will be available at the Lighthouse Mission.
