The iconic voice of the Milwaukee Brewers has passed away.
The team announced this morning that Bob Uecker has died at the age of 90.
Nicknamed “Mr. Baseball,” Uecker called Brewers games since 1971, making the Baseball Hall of Fame on his way.
In a statement released by the club, Uecker’s family said he had “faced a private battle with small cell lung cancer” since early 2023.
Another legend has passed away.
The Washington Wizards announced that Gus Williams died yesterday at the age of 71.
Williams helped the SuperSonics bring an NBA championship to Seattle in 1979, leading the team with 29 points per game in the finals.
Nicknamed “The Wizard,” the Sonics went on to retire his #1 jersey.
A key assistant coach for the Seahawks could be on the move as the team continues its search for a new offensive coordinator.
The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports Leslie Frazier is scheduled to interview for the Dallas Cowboys head coaching job on Monday.
Frazier joined Seattle last season as a veteran presence for first time head coach Mike Macdonald and first time NFL coordinators on both sides of the ball.
He carries 25 years of coaching experience, including three seasons as head coach for the Vikings and 14 seasons as a defensive coordinator with several teams.
He was also a star cornerback on the 1985 Super Bowl-winning Chicago Bears, who are known for having one of the greatest defenses in NFL history.

Seattle is wrapping up its week-long road trip against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Jets currently own the best record in the NHL.
Meanwhile, the Kraken have won two of their last three to recover from a rough stretch where they went 2-9.

And the Ferndale boys fell to Sedro 59-48.
