FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – The Ferndale School District is looking for people to participate in different task forces tackling engagement and improving services.

The district is currently accepting applications for two task forces by the end of the month.

The Family Engagement Task Force will recommend a multi-year action plan for district-wide family engagement. Members will review and update the current policies and program while looking at data provided on broad family engagement.

The Highly Capable Learning Committee will focus on adhering the district to statewide policies around equitable and universal screening for highly capable students in K-8 education.
