FERNDALE, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Ferndale Public Schools is hosting Rock the Nest Fest for another evening of music, food and fundraising.

This family-friendly street festival on May 17 runs from 3:00 – 9:30 p.m. at Ferndale High School.

From the start of the event until 7:00 p.m., food trucks, street vendors and family activities can be expected at the free street fair. Then at 7:30, Seattle-based band Nite Wave will take the stage and perform two hours of 80’s new wave hits from artists like Duran Duran, Prince, Billy Idol and more.

Proceeds from Rock the Nest Fest go to the Ferndale Public Schools Foundation, an organization that supports Ferndale students by removing financial barriers in education.

Adult tickets are $24, youth/student (11-18) tickets are $10 and children under 10 are free.
