BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Two people have been arrested in connection to the murder of a Bellingham man in southwest Oregon.

Oregon State Police say a hunter found a dead body in a wooded area near Sprague River last Tuesday, Sept. 23.

The Klamath County Sheriff’s Office determined that the victim died as the result of a homicide.

The body was later identified as 47-year-old Robert Hein of Bellingham.

The ensuing investigation led to the arrests of two men, aged 38 and 41, on Thursday, Sept. 25.

The two suspects, who are both from Sprague River, are being charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.

OSP’s investigation is ongoing, and the agency is not releasing any more information at this time.
