BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham woman has been arrested in connection to a child sex assault investigation.

Bellingham Police Lt. Claudia Murphy says that their primary suspect, identified in court documents as a 46-year-old man, was arrested in October 2024.

He is accused of sexually assaulting a child and providing methamphetamine to at least two minors.

Investigators discovered that the sexual assaults occurred in hotel rooms over a three-week period, which were booked by the child’s female relative.

The 42-year-old Bellingham woman received methamphetamine in exchange for procuring at least three hotel reservations for the male suspect. She was taken into custody on Sunday, Feb. 1.

The primary male suspect has been incarcerated at the Whatcom County Jail since his 2024 arrest.
