The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties through 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 26.

Forecasters are expecting up to a foot of snow in the mountains, including Mount Baker. They warn that travel could be very difficult and are urging drivers to slow down.
