Bellingham’s fireworks show, The People’s Fourth of July Spectacular, runs this Saturday, July 4, for 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Zuanich Park at Squalicum Harbor. It kicks off with a performance from Bellingham Symphony Orchestra followed by a watermelon and raspberry eating contest. The event includes a Kids Fun Zone, food trucks and a bike valet.

It all wraps up at 10:30 p.m. with the big fireworks show over Bellingham Bay. So, head down to Squalicum Harbor to take it all in on Saturday or find another spot on the waterfront to enjoy the show.

In Blaine, the Old Fashioned Fourth of July celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a street fair, live music and a parade. This one features a kids zone as well, a car show and a beer garden with live music.
