BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Bellingham residents have a rare chance to speak directly with city leaders this week.

Mayor Kim Lund and her team will be at Larrabee Lager Company on Wednesday, Aug. 19, for the city’s final “Ask Us Anything” event of the year.

Community members are invited to ask questions about city priorities, upcoming projects or anything else they’re curious about. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program takes place from 6 to 7 p.m.

It comes during the ongoing cleanup of the city’s largest homeless encampment in the King Mountain neighborhood.

My Bellingham Now previously reported that all of the encampment’s inhabitants were cleared out last week as work is now underway to prepare the 40-acre site for logging.
