LUMMI ISLAND, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Heads up for ferry travelers in Whatcom County:
Public Works says that all Whatcom Chief services from Gooseberry Point to Lummi Island Thursday, Aug. 27 have been cancelled.
Rides were suspended for an hour the previous day due to an unspecified issue.
The U.S. Coast Guard will spend Thursday conducting inspections.
It’s unclear at this time if services will be restored Friday.
