BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – More parking spots in downtown Bellingham will soon transition to paid parking.
The city will transition several time-limited parking zones into paid parking areas starting next week.
That includes new portions of W Holly Street, N Forest Street, Prospect Street and Grand Avenue.
City officials say that the boost in parking revenue will get reinvested back into downtown businesses and the programs supporting them.
Here’s the full list of impacted stretches of road:
- W Holly from Champion to Central
- Central from W Holly to the end of the road
- Prospect between Central and Lottie
- Grand from Lottie to Girard
- E Chestnut between N State and N Forest
- N Forest from E Holly to York
- Magnolia from N Forest to N State
- E Champion from N Forest to N State
