BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – Don’t be alarmed: an emergency drill has been scheduled for Bellingham International Airport.

The Port of Bellingham will begin their training exercise at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.

Rescue crews, law enforcement and other involved agencies will respond to a simulated aircraft incident.

The FAA requires all airports to conduct this type of training once every three years.
