BELLINGHAM, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A Bellingham man was arrested following a crash with a school bus.
Police Lt. Claudia Murphy says that the accident occurred on Monday afternoon, Oct. 5 at the intersection of Aldrich Road and Darby Drive.
The suspect, identified as a 58-year-old man, didn’t stop at the stop sign on Darby Drive and struck the side of a Bellingham school bus.
No one was injured, and there was minimal damage to the bus.
Investigators learned that the suspect’s license was suspended and he didn’t have an ignition interlock device in his car.
The suspect was arrested and issued numerous citations.
