KENDALL, Wash. – Two people were hospitalized following a shooting in Kendall.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s spokesperson Rodger Funk said that deputies were called after the shooting occurred on Hawthorne Pl around 7:30 Friday morning.

One of the victims had been shot in the face following an altercation.

The other man was also injured as a result of the incident.

Both were transported to the hospital.

Multiple agencies responded, including Bellingham Police, Sumas Police, and Customs and Border Protection.

No arrests have been made, and Funk adds that there is no threat to the public at this time.
