BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Sen. Patty Murray will be in Whatcom County on Monday.
She’ll start her visit in Bellingham to hear from small business owners about how the pandemic affected them and how their recovery efforts have gone.
Then she’ll visit the site of a broadband project to talk about expanding access to high-speed internet for rural communities.
The Senator will finish her tour at the site of a new Early Learning Center she’s working to secure funding for.
She’ll meet with the Superintendent of the Meridian School District, as well as parents and educators, to discuss efforts to lower the cost of child care.
