BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A woman faces charges after deputies say she smuggled fentanyl into the Whatcom County Jail and passed it around.
Charging documents state that Tammy Fry was arrested on a warrant early on July 31st.
She had fentanyl powder hidden in her bra and retrieved it after being placed in a housing unit, then shared it with four other inmates.
She admitted to deputies that she brought the fentanyl into the jail and gave to the other women.
In addition to the warrant, she faces charges of introducing contraband into the jail and possession with intent to deliver.
