BELLINGHAM, Wash. – More hot weather is on its way to Western Washington.
The National Weather Service in Seattle says that Monday and Tuesday pose the greatest risks for heat-related health issues.
A Heat Advisory is in effect for western Whatcom and Skagit Counties through Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, the risk of wildfires has been elevated through Thursday. especially in the North Cascades.
People are being advised to stay cool and hydrated, especially if they have plans to work outside.
The NWS is also reminding people not to leave their children or pets in vehicles for extended periods of time.
