The woman claimed she suffered PTSD after being attacked by a dog while working, but discretely rescued and fostered dogs for decades.
The northbound and southbound rest areas are scheduled to reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22.
The woman was dropped off at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center on Tuesday morning, Aug. 20 with significant injuries.
