The crew rode out towards Zuanich at around 1 p.m. and then banked back downtown to wave at the weekend Farmer’s Market crowd.
The celebration will span nine days and take place in over 10 cities, from Portland, Oregon to Vancouver, B.C
The ballot includes two levies and primary elections for eight different offices.
The ordinance would create a new chapter of the city’s municipal code, if approved.
The vacancy is largely due to the bankruptcies and closures of Rite Aid and JoAnn Fabrics, which account for almost half of the increase.
The changes include a simplification of the shelter permit process and the removal of a cap on shelter capacity.
