High school basketball Class 1A district tournament play got underway Monday night.  On the boys side Nooksack Valley eliminated Mount Baker 61-43.  The Pioneers move on to visit Lynden Christian Wednesday night on AM790 KGMI.

In girls play Blaine knocked out Mount Baker 48-36.  The Borderites advance to play #1 seed Nooksack Valley Wednesday night.
