STANWOOD, WA – Another minor earthquake shakes up part of the Puget Sound.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network says a magnitude 3.1 quake rattled Stanwood Thursday afternoon.

It was originally given a 3.5 magnitude rating but was later downgraded.

The quake comes about a month after a 4.3 magnitude quake struck near Port Townsend.
