SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. – The Coast Guard rescued a man and his dog after their boat ran aground in Samish Bay over the weekend.
A helicopter team hoisted the two from the 35-foot boat and brought them to Bellingham Int’l Airport Saturday afternoon.
Neither man nor dog was injured.
The Coast Guard is now investigating why the boat ran aground.
