BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Missed your chance to get your name on the November ballot?

The Whatcom County Auditor is opening up a new filing window for a handful of positions.

Eleven elected commissioner roles and a director spot did not have any candidates apply by the end of the day last Friday, May 19th.

Those include positions in Fire Protection, Cemetary, Water, and the Parks and Recreation districts.

The new filing window will open Wednesday, May 24th, and close at the end of the day Friday.
