BELLEVUE, Wash. – Bellevue Police say they are investigating an organized burglary crew that has been operating from Bellingham to Kent.
They say the same group of suspects is thought to have been involved in 16 burglaries in the Bellevue area.
The group is known to use trail systems to enter and leave neighborhoods and have getaway drivers waiting.
They generally operate in groups of three and strike several homes in a neighborhood during the evening hours.
The Bellevue department says they have been sharing information about the crew with police forces in other cities along the I-5 corridor.
