BELLINGHAM, WA – (KGMI.com) If you’re looking to get outside, there are a few events in Bellingham happening Saturday.
The 37th annual Jingle Bell Run will take place at Bellingham High School to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation.
The signature run will include a 5K run/walk, a one-mile walk, kids’ fun run with elves and a one-mile dog trot, all preceded by a costume contest.
Holiday clothes are encouraged and there will be an opportunity to take photos with Santa Clause.
Registration will remain open through the morning and costs at a minimum $30-$45 depending on the event.
To register for the run, visit the Arthritis Foundation’s website.
Our sister station KAFE has more information about event time breakdowns on their website.
And the third annual Lighted Bike Parade is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. with one difference from last year.
All of the celebration has been moved to Depot Market Square where participants are encouraged to wear holiday gear and wrap lights around their bicycle.
The parade will run down to Boulevard Park and return to the square starting at 6 p.m.
The event is free and there will be a performance from the Bellingham Youth Jazz Band and a magic show.
More information for the bike parade can be find on WTA’s website.
