BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham man was arrested after being accused of pointing a gun at several people downtown.
Court documents state the suspect, along with two other men, approached and attacked a security guard at The Royal Night Club on Sunday, February 26th.
Two other security guards saw the assault and rushed to help their coworker.
The suspect then pulled out a gun, pointed it at the guards and other bystanders, and fled the area with the other attackers.
The guards told officers that the suspects had previously caused issues at the venue.
Officers were able to arrest the gun-wielding suspect by tracking down his vehicle with “distinct features.”
20-year-old Daniel Santos Delgado was taken into custody on a second-degree assault charge.
He was later released on $50,000 bond.
