BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Public Library is celebrating National Library Week in style as they officially opened their new Bellis Fair Branch on Wednesday, April 26th.
The library shared photos on their Facebook page showing the hundreds of residents on hand to celebrate at the Mall where Mayor Seth Fleetwood led the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The opening is the culmination of a two-year project to extend library services to the north side of the city.
Along with the new branch opening, the local library system just released their schedule of free programs for May.
