BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Public Library is planning to expand their services to the north side of town.

The library announced on Friday, February 24th, that work is underway to open a new location inside Bellis Fair Mall this spring.

The new branch will offer space for browsing books, music and movies, as well as access to computers and room for interactive children’s activities.

The expansion comes after the library received strong community feedback to their free, weekly Storytimes at Bellis Fair for young children.

The exact opening date has not yet been determined.
