BIRCH BAY, Wash. – Organizers in Birch Bay are looking for feedback from their fellow residents as they look to incorporate the community into an official city.

The Northern Light reports the recently established Birch Bay Community Political Action Committee say the timing is right to start the process as the population of around 10,000 continues to expand.

They have created an online survey to gauge the will of the people and if responses are positive, they will begin the long incorporation process.

The survey is available online to fill out until May 8th.
