BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Public Works is asking for public input on how bicycling can be improved in the city.

The last bicycling master plan was put into action in 2014, and over half of its projects have been completed.

But the department says updates are needed as the population has increased and needs have changes.

The Bicycle Master Plan web page has an interactive map for ideas, a survey, and a section for comments and questions.

Everyone is encouraged to offer ideas, including those with little or no biking experience.
