BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Whatcom County Council will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, June 20th at 6 p.m. to discuss an ordinance amending the code concerning Lummi Island ferry rates.

Revisions in the ordinance include clarifying fees and expenses, allowing multi-ride punch cards purchased at previous rates to be used as credit for new cards, and creating greater transparency for fare adjustments.

The Council invites the public to comment during the Tuesday meeting, the full ordinance can be read on the county website.
