LYNDEN, Wash. – A friendly reminder for a pair of road closures that begin on Monday, September 18th.

Lake Whatcom Boulevard south of Sudden Valley will close starting at 7 a.m.

It will be closed to all traffic south of Lake Louise Road as crews work to replace a failing culvert that is causing severe erosion of the road shoulder.

That closure lasts through Friday, September 22nd.

And more roadwork will close the Guide Meridian in Lynden between Front and Main streets.

Crews will work on the Duffner Ditch to replace a twin fish barrier with a larger culvert that will open up six miles of habitat for native fish.

The Guide will be closed starting at 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, September 21.
