High school basketball district tournament results from Monday night…on the girls side Lynden beat Archbishop Murphy 52-42.  Burlington defeated Sehome 56-46.  That means Lynden and Burlington will play for the district championship Friday night.

Sehome plays Anacortes in a loser-out game Wednesday night at 7:15 at Mount Vernon High School.

Also Monday night Squalicum beat Lakewood 65-32.  The Storm next face Archbishop Murphy is a loser-out game Wednesday at 5:30 also at Mount Vernon.

In boys play Tuesday night two of the state’s best go at it on AM790 KGMI as the top-ranked Lynden boys take on #5 Sehome in the district semi-finals.  The winner moves on to the district championship game.  It’s a 5:15 pre-game show and 5:30 tip-off on KGMI and KGMI.com.
