EVERSON, WA. – An Everson man was arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting a child who was known to him.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s detectives began an investigation last month into reports of the assault.

They found probable cause to arrest 26-year-old Kalub Ames-Cude on child rape and incest charges.

Cude turned himself in on Tuesday, October 3rd, and remains in Whatcom County jail without bail.
