BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) A spot in Bellingham has been named one of the 50 best new restaurants in America.

Esquire Magazine says the French-forward dishes at Bistro Estelle have put the city of subdued excitement on the culinary map.

The Bistro, which is located in Fairhaven, serves up dishes like steak tartare, Hamachi, and duck confit with a spiced orange gastrique.

Of course, you can also order the classic French staple steak frites to go along with their selection of beer, wine and craft cocktails.

Bistro Estelle’s team of chefs also run the meat focused Carnal on State Street along with their burger and chicken sandwich joint Accomplice.
