LYNDEN, Wash. – The Northwest Washington Fair is a little over a week away from kicking off.

Tickets are still available to purchase, but you could get in for free on one of the first few days.

Brown & Brown is sponsoring Food Drive Friday at the fair on August 11th.

They’re asking for food donations, especially canned proteins, pasta, dry pinto beans, and rice.

Guests will need to bring a total of four items in order to qualify for free admission.

The food will be donated to the Whatcom County Food Bank Network.

Brown & Brown will also accept donations at their offices in Lynden and Seattle through August 10th.
