BELLINGHAM, WA. – (KGMI.com) Gas prices in Whatcom County are continuing their steady decline.
AAA reports that the average price of gas in the county sits at $4.09 a gallon, down about 40 cents from last month.
Skagit County has some of the cheapest gas in the state at $3.99 a gallon.
That is nearly 40 cents lower than the state average, but still high above the national average of $3.25 a gallon.
Washington currently has the third highest gas prices in the country, behind California and Hawaii.
