GORGE AMPITHEATER, Wash. – New security measures at the Gorge Amphitheater caused headaches for concertgoers Friday night.

KIRO reports that people heading to The Lumineers show were stuck in hours of traffic trying to get into the venue.

Some never even got in, and claim that their tickets aren’t able to get refunded.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said that the backups were mostly caused by an increase in security measures following a mass shooting at the Gorge earlier this year.

Sheriff Joe Kriete said that his office will review future traffic control plans with Live Nation and the county’s public works dept.
