BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Roadwork will close part of NB I-5 near Bellingham this week.

WSDOT says they need to work on significant guardrail repairs that will close the right lane between North Lake Samish Drive and Falls Drive for nearly 24 hours.

The closure will begin at 8 am on Wednesday and goes through 5 am on Thursday.

Crews will repair more than 300 ft of damaged guardrail.

WSDOT is encouraging drivers to plan ahead and expect lengthy delays.
